Causes of Back Pain.
Causes of Back Pain.
The most common cause of back pain are, sudden injuries or muscle sprain.(by back pains we include lower back, shoulders, neck region, etc)
If it is Acute you feel locked up, and you cannot move freely, if it is lower back, patients are holding onto walls as they come in. In the acute stage there is a lot of pain, and can be very debilitating.
Other causes
-Poor lifting, ligament sprains, herniated discs.
-Stress often creates muscle tension, and unresolved stress can result in a lot of back aches. ie. bad marriages, financial worries or chronic sickness in a family, just to name a few.
-Poor posture can also contribute, if you work with computers, ergonomic seating and desks are important.
-Disc problems (prolapses) the pain is acute and local, and when you cough/sneeze it hurts. This is a clear sign of a prolapsed disc
-Rib pains. This pain is local in the chest, and when you breathe, it catches you. Sleeping often becomes a painful problem.
